Taiho Jutsu Coaching Certificate
The is a New 10 Day Course has been Endorsed through (National Open College Network NOCN). It is the first in the country to be Endorsed by them in this field.
Introduction
Taiho Jutsu is a martial art designed to contain a physical situation that has gone past the point of physical intervention. It is a self defence system in its purest form. Translated in English: Arresting Techniques in Combat.
It is currently taught all over the world to Police and Military Personnel as an effective Fighting System. Current Mental Health and Prison Services Practice the techniques taught in the Taiho Jutsu Syllabus within their Control and Restraint Training. As a Self Defence Art you will practice techniques that will contain the fight by only doing enough that is necessary at the time, proportionate in law and justifiable in a court of law.
As part of the development of the United Kingdom Taiho Juts Association I have developed a system where a Level 3 Physical Intervention trainer can map their knowledge across and become a coach within the Association.
We have also opened this up to other Martial Art Instructors who wish to attend training session and coaching courses with our system.
These courses are based on the old System of delivery that was taught at Panel Ash Training centre for the British Police in the late 80s and Early 90s.

Who should attend this course:
- Level 3 Physical Intervention Instructors who want to take their knowledge to a higher level and teach additional courses in Advanced Physical Intervention and Self defence
- Those that hold an Advanced Physical Intervention certificate within the McCormack Training System will be exempt the first two levels and apply for a Coaching certificate
- Martial Artists who are Teaching within their clubs and want to add additional techniques to their current systems
- You will have different levels of achievement which will map across to the current grading system
