Course Appeals Procedure 01.05.2024
An Appeal can be made against any decision made by the assessor/examiner within 4 weeks of the decision made on the original Course. However it is expected that any complaints are made immediately and therefore subjected to immediate investigation and solution. In the event of dispute by the student against the judgement made by the assessor/ examiner, the dispute will be settled by checking that the assessment and evidence produced sits against the appropriate standards as identified in the lesson plans, and relevant qualification material.
Where initial checking does not resolve the dispute, the line of appeals is as follows: –
Student
V
Assessor/trainer
V
Internal Verifier
V
External Verifier
V
Awarding Organisation
The student must follow the above process and not attempt to ‘leap frog’ the structure.
The awarding organisation is the final Arbiter of any appeal process.
A copy of all documents will be held regarding the appeal and will be available to the student on request.
